Huxley is a Korean brand that has a really cool concept of deriving its ingredient from a "Cactus", a resilient plant that is known for its ability to retain water against any harsh environment.

Review:
My decision to purchase this product is purely out of curiosity and interest. I am always on the go for good cleanser because most cleansers that I have bought before were often too drying- they cleaned really well but too well that sometimes I feel like my skin is turning into a desert. Then, one day, I just stumbled on this brand through online window shopping and I saw many good reviews on their products. Their whole concept seem different from other kbeauty. Their design look simple and clean yet they also ooze a bit of an elegant aura. Huxley is a luxurious brand and has quite a costly price point so it took me quite a long time to actually approach their product. And I immediately bought the cleanser when it went on sale. The full price is around $30. But it was only $21-$22 after the discount.
Because this is a gel-type cleanser, it is quite gentle. If you have a thick makeup, you should use a makeup-remover before this, or do a double-cleanse.
I usually use a little bit more gel than this to clean my face but because that time I only wanna show the texture to you guys, thats why I don't want to waste it.
After adding just a tiny bit of water, you rub your hand together and it creates small bubbles as you can see. Notice that, unlike foam cleanser, this doesn't lather very well, but that is alright, that is just one of the characteristic of a gel cleanser. Some other gel cleansers don't even foam at all.
The next step is when you began to clean your face. The first thing that will hit you is the smell. It has a strong smell but not chemically, the smell is more natural and refreshing. I personally like it but for some people who are vulnerable to fragrance, you should be careful and check out the smell first. Then, after finished cleansing, I rinse it off with water and I'm so happy that my skin doesn't scream "dehydration".The thing is I feel clean without having to suffer the dryness that would've come afterward with other products. I'm not sure if its really moisturizing because in my opinion, cleansing is equal to wiping stuff out of your face that should've included hydrating substances and of course, even with this gentle cleanser, my face does seem to lose some hydration; its just not as vigorous as what I have experienced before. It just doesn't feel like a Sahara, yaay to that.
Right now, Huxley gel-cleanser has earned itself a permanent spot in my skincare routine. I use it every morning, and only sometimes in the evening because I have 1 more cleanser that I have been trying to test out on my skin.
So in conclusion, Huxley Be Clean, Be Moist Cleansing Gel is a total bae to me. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. The price does seem like a turn off but trust me, this product goes a long way. It will take you a long time to finish this. And I would definitely buy it again if by that time I finish this, I'm not yet broke.
My final rating is a perfect 5/5.
This is the end of my review. Thank you for reading til this point. Lots of thanks and love <3
